In my mind I had a few key use cases I wanted to try out: Ok now the light was on, it was time to try the various modes that I shall attempt to capture and document below. Minor UX detail, but once you know how to use it, you are good to go. I figured the sensor for your hand may be in this area so you need to hover over there first to activate the device in order to use any of the buttons it seems. For a brief moment I thought something was wrong, but then I started tapping the surrounding buttons which also did nothing until I tapped the one at the bottom and the other buttons illuminated. Looking at the controller above, my natural instinct was to press the middle area that looked like the power button (which it is) however nothing happened. With everything connected, it was time to power it on. So early this month I got an email from BenQ who had noticed I was up posting at all hours of the day and decided it was time to save my eyes from any potential eye strain (thanks for shining some light on this - pun intended) so they sent me over a ScreenBar Halo unit to try out with my monitor, use it for a month, and post an honest review of my experience, so here it is.
